The Family Bill of Rights

Type:
Miscellaneous

The "Family Bill of Rights, Volume 2" explains the devastating impact of workers' deaths on family members, and establishes a set of rights that all families who lose a loved on the job should have. The Bill of Rights was first created by United Support & Memorial for Workplace Fatalities, an organization founded by and for the families of workers killed on the job, in 2007. This second edition of the Bill of Rights lays out ten policies to protect families' rights, and calls on the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety & Health Administration, Mine Safety & Health Adminsitration, Congress, and state and federal Workers' Compensation systems to take action.
