Occupational Health and Safety Protections for Immigrant Workers
This report documents the high incidence of occupational illnesses and injuries among immigrant workers. The report finds that, although immigrant workers are highly concentrated in high-risk occupations, they suffer significantly higher rates of illness and injury than other workers in the same industries. The report identifies factors contributing to this discrepancy and makes recommendations for research and reforms.
